Auburn Football returns to the Plains this weekend for the annual A-day game. Make plans to come downtown to score some great deals, eat well, and for all the fun in between. 

Friday, April 6th:

2 p.m. - Come spruce up your wardrobe and support the Lee County Humane Society. Charming Oaks will be donating 10% of all sales to the shelter from 2-6 pm. The shelter will have some of their adoptable, furry friends at the store! 

 6 p.m. - Country Rocks the Plains- Free concert on the Green Space outside of Jordan-Hare. Featuring Brothers Osborne. Concert starts at 6 pm.

Saturday, April 7th:

8 a.m. – The Tri Delta Lutzie 5K, which will take runners all over the Auburn University campus. All proceeds from the event support the Philip Lutzenkirchen Excellence in Public Speaking Award, which is awarded annually by Auburn’s School of Communication and Journalism. Registration is $20 for Auburn University students and $43 for non-students.The event is presented by The Standard at Auburn. For more information, visit lutzie43.org/events.

9 a.m. - The Local Market will start the day off with a breakfast fundraiser for Nourish, AL from 9-10 AM. This locAL organization feeds locALly good insecure families fresh locAL produce. The breakfast for donations only will feature fresh brewed coffee donated by our locAL favs Prevail & Toomer’s Coffee, blue grits by McEwen & Sons and J&M JAM with toast by Hornsby Farms!!! 

10 a.m- The Local Market will host The Sani Freeze and Yum Yum 10 am- 2 pm. 

10 a.m. - Daniel Carlson will be at Halftime Grill signing autographs from 10-11:20 am.

11 a.m.- Joanna Banana will be walking around downtown from 11 am - 2 pm making balloon animals (at no charge) for all the little tiger fans!

12 p.m. - Daniel Carlson will be signing autographs at J&M Bookstore from 12-2 pm. 

3 p.m. - A-Day game will kick-off in Jordan-Hare.
