If you don’t already know Wrapsody by its large Enewton selection, elegant Christmas decor that is sure to be up by September, or Bid Day Box rush that hits in August (no pun intended), you might know it by its people. The Auburn Wrapsody perfectly complements the charm of Downtown Auburn through its exemplary customer service and consistent display of class and courtesy in every busy season of the year.
Wrapsody makes the process of picking, purchasing, and prepping gifts truly seamless for the Auburn community. As soon as you walk in the door, there is a Wrappette ready to greet you and assist in finding the perfect, unique gift for any special occasion. The business serves as an all-in-one stop for holiday and birthday shopping, even offering complimentary gift wrapping with every purchase. On each display you’ll find a variety of high-end candle brands, bags/luggage, quality jewelry, modern home decor, sorority apparel and merchandise, seasonal clothing, and more.
Perhaps what keeps Wrapsody growing and thriving, besides the exciting product selection, are the people who manage it well. Mikaela Arnold celebrated her fourth year leading as store manager for the Auburn location in July 2026. When Mikaela is not managing a team of sales associates or planning product displays, she creates and sells her own artwork through her small business, Mikaela Makes. Her work can be found on display in the Auburn-Opelika Tourism building.
Mikaela’s strong leadership is complemented by the store’s longstanding district manager, Renee Hamby, who will mark thirteen loyal years to Wrapsody in December. Both Renee and Mikaela take pride in their dedication to keeping customer service as a top priority for the store. They understand that Wrapsody’s strong local customer base has been crucial to the business’ growth since opening in 2009. Renee and Mikaela are proud to say that Wrapsody has grown steadily over the years- a success that is not the result of luck or serendipity, but rather the faithful commitment ofits staff to improve its efficiency, strategy, and product selection year after year. Still, they admit that they may be even more proud of the family they have built within the business and the community they have cultivated beyond its doors.
For many young women in Auburn, Wrapsody has served as a formative stepping stone into the professional world, transforming new hires into engaging, hardworking, and career-ready young professionals. In many ways, the people of Wrapsody are what make the store what it is: a place where customers feel cared for, employees grow, and the Auburn community feels right at home.
