Downtown Auburn for Enneagram 1

Downtown Auburn for Enneagram 1

Wow, I really feel like this whole Enneagram thing is becoming a new hobby of mine. I might need to add it to my resume. Today, I am going to tell ya a little more about a number that I have had to do extra research on. Maybe it’s because this type is known to be critical or maybe because I can’t relate much. I think I need a little more “one” in me, though.

We are back and back with the Enneagram number 9. Remember, I am no expert! This is just for fun! However, I may be an expert once this series is over. I am really enjoying this.

First, let me start off by saying that I am by no means an Enneagram expert. This is just for all of you people like me who enjoy little things like this!

Parking Deck Underway

Downtown Auburn is no stranger to progress. As Auburn grows, so does downtown. Perhaps one of the most significant growing pains is the need for additional parking.

You may have noticed a large empty spot with construction on N. College St. where the Auburn Baptist Student Center was once located. In May of this year, the City of Auburn broke ground and a large concrete deck is underway.

The deck will have frontage on N. College but vehicles will enter and exit off of Wright St. The Auburn Baptist Student Center will be re-homed on the ground floor of the deck. The parking deck will have 350 metered spaces for public use and is slated to be completed by 2021.

Other improvements to include new landscaping or what is referred to as a “pocket park” in the front on College St.
