Auburn High School will hold its homecoming parade on Thursday, Sept. 26, in downtown Auburn. Portions of downtown streets will close for the event, which will begin at 5:30 p.m.

The parade will begin at the intersection of South College Street and Thach Avenue, traveling north on College, east on Tichenor Avenue, south on Gay Street, west on Magnolia Avenue and south on College Street until it ends back at Thach. College Street and Magnolia Avenue will close at 4 p.m. to allow for event setup, and the remaining streets will close right before the parade begins. On-street parking along the parade route will not close during the evening, but cars parked along the route will be inaccessible while streets are closed.

A short pep rally will take place during the parade at Toomer’s Corner. The parade will be held rain or shine. Public parking is available in the Gay Street Parking Lot, along downtown streets, in the East Glenn Avenue Lot and at Felton Little Park.
